Scope and content
Item is an example of medal that was orginally planned to be used as gifts upon the blessing of the new St. Joseph Seminary and Newman Theological College buildings located at 8421 101 Ave in Edmonton, Alberta. However because of construction delays these coins were discarded as the dates includes in the inscriptions were no longer valid.
Side A includes an image of the statue of St.Joseph which is found in the Seminary chapel " BLESSED 12 SEPTEMBER 2010... ST.JOSEPH SEMINARY." Side B includes an image of the bust of Blessed John. H. Newman "BLESSED 1 NOVEMBER 2010... NEWMAN THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE".
