The series containes examples of the different vestments worn throughout the 20th century Alberta Roman Catholic Church. These vestments include: priestly cassocks, altar server cassock (in red and black), albs, surplices, tunicles, dalmatics, chasubles,copes, humeral veils, and rochets. These are found in various colours depending litugical rubric. These vestments iinclude both styles found primary before and after Vatican II.
The series also includes several items which have not been numerically identified and logged in the inventory. These include: the episcopal mitres, the birettas (both episcopal and sacerdotal), the altar cloths of various types (palls,towels,purificators,corporals), cinctures (both rope-like and episcopal), amices, episcopal gloves (or gaunlets), stoles (both for deacons and priests), maniples, tabernacle covers (skirts), chalice covers (skirts), altar table cloth, chalice veils, burses, capa magna (great cape), and an epsicopal collar shirt slip.
