The file consists of correspondence related to various special masses organized by the Archdiocese of Edmonton including Lenten Masses, Trinidentine Masses, Chrism Masses, other special masses (such as masses fo the world day of peace) and consists of correspondence, bulletins, and other related documents. In addition this sub-sub-series includes correspondence and other documents related to various mass issues, such as the St. Pius X Society, mass stipends etc..

In 2014 the numbering system and arrangement was altered slightly: 1.5.22 was originally Lenten Mass, 1.5.23 Tridentine Mass, 1.5.23.1 St. Piux X Society, and 1.5.24 Chrism Mass. This was changed so that 1.5.22 was titled Special Masses with subdivisions for each kind of special mass as its own sub-number. The files are arranged into the following folders:
