Purple and gold chasuble

Item is an example of a Roman-Style chasuble commonly worn prior to the start of the Second Vatican Council. The purple colour indicates that this chasuble would have been worn during Advent and from Septuagesima to Easter, on vigiles that are dast days, on ember-days, except the Vigil of Pentecost and the ember-days during the octave of Pentecost. Violet (or purple) is also used used for Mass on rogation-days, for votive Masses of the Passion and of penitential characheter, at the blessing of cnadles and of holy water.

The front-side of the chasuable includes en embroidered grape motif in gold thread and the back-side includes and image of the "IHS" cross surrounded by same grape motife. The collor of the chasuble is made of lace.

Item is an example of a Roman-style chasuble commonly worn during the 20th century before the start of the Second Vatican Council. The purple colour indicates that this chasuble would have been worn during Advent and from Septuagesima to Easter, on vigiles that are dast days, on ember-days, except the Vigil of Pentecost and the ember-days during the octave of Pentecost. Violet (or purple) is also used used for Mass on rogation-days, for votive Masses of the Passion and of penitential characheter, at the blessing of cnadles and of holy water.

This chasuble is not very ornate and includes simple hand stiched "IHS" applique on the front and no detailing on the back.

Item is an example of a Neo-Gothic style chasuble and stole set commonly used after the conclusion the the Second Vatican Council. The front-side of the chasuble is not ornate, the back-side includes and image of the "PAX" symbol and a cross surrounded by wheat. The chasuble comes with a matching stole which is reversible.

The purple colour indicates that this chasuble would have been worn during Advent and from Septuagesima to Easter, on vigils that are dast days, on ember-days, except the Vigil of Pentecost and the ember-days during the octave of Pentecost. Violet (or purple) is also used used for Mass on rogation-days, for votive Masses of the Passion and of penitential character, at the blessing of candles and of holy water.

Item is an example of a vestment that would be worn by either a deacon or by a sub-deacon during Mass. It is neither a proper Dalmatic nor a proper Tunicle but it fits more the latter than the former. It has the gold crosses on the bands.
