The file consists of records related to closing the estate of various priests who have been active in the Archdiocese of Edmonton including MacDonald, Holland, Landrigan, Rijnjiers, Becs, Kushneryk, Nowakoski, and Kuefler.

The series includes a variety of printed materials, artifacts and other ephemera including, but not limited to letterhead, event tickets, raffle tickets, parking information, Christmas cards, silent auction lists, and advertising posters. Note that letterhead lists members of the Friars’ executive for any given year. The earliest materials (invitations, pamphlets, etc.) are housed in albums. Most annual program includes the names of all guests who attended the previous event. Annual programs also include the names of the members of the executive.

The series also includes scrapbooks, photographs, guestbook, and samples of party favours/souvenirs from Friars’ Ball: cookbook, assorted glassware.

The fonds includes one photograph album containing photographs, pamphlets, cards and other mementos from Priscilla Edwards time as a Chaplain for the Archdiocese of Edmonton.

The fonds also includes two papal blessings, the first issued in 1997 from His Holiness Pope John Paul II on the occasion of Priscilla Edwards' twenty-fifth year anniversary of service as a Chaplain at the University of Alberta Hospital. The second issued in 2007 from His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI on the occasion of her 30 years of service in Pastoral Care at the University of Alberta Hospital.

The file consists of records that document the relationship between the Archdiocese and various private Catholic educational institutions across Canada including the Jesuit College (Edmonton), Caritas School (Edmonton), John Paul II Bible School (Radway), Bible School (Canmore), Living Waters Art College, and Redeemer Pacific College and consists primarily of correspondence and information materials.

The file contains copies of marriage papers upated in 2006 to be used by all parish priests for the registration of couples who wish to be married in the Catholic Church. The papers include the following documents: Form 1A Initial Interview, Form 1B Pre-nuptial investigation, Form 1C, Form 2 Pre-nuptial Enquiry, Form 3 Request for Dispensations, and Form 4 Notification of parish of baptism. In addition to copies of the forms, the file also includes instructions for completing the forms.

The file contains correspondence and other documents used for creating and maintaing the policy and procedure for properly granting a privilege of the faith.
