This is a photograph of the Anniversary Quilt for St. Emerence parish's centennial celebration. Each square on the quilt represents (starting from the top left and going counter-clockwise): the current St. Emerence church, the first school building, a Bible which represents faith, Gagnon hardware store, the cemetery monument, Poiriers store, Shamrock Hotel, Riviere Qui Barre river, [Cyres] stopping place, street signs, the present school, and the original church building.
The file consists of records documenting the organization and implementation of the annual Archdiocesan Pastoral Council General Assembly. These were held annually and intended to be both a social and spiritual retreat for APC members.
