Scope and content
The series consists of minutes, reports, proposals, general correspondence and other records from the various committees established to coordinate the Papal Visit. Each committee was responsible to report directly to the director of the Papal Visit Secretariat. These committees include The Liturgy Committee, Transportation, Motorcade, Grey Nuns’ Centre, Medical Coverage, Arrival and Departure Protocol and VIP treatment. Furthermore, the series contains correspondence and minutes from the Papal Mass, Entertainment, Communications, Media, Volunteers, Papal Visit Flag, Cultural Events and Accommodation Committees.
