The series consists of calendars, day planners and agendas used by Archbishop MacNeil to organize his various appointments and includes both personal appointments (doctors appointments and hair cuts) and professional appointments (masses, meetings, committees, trips, funerals, weddings, confirmations etc.). Dating from 1961, the year the Archbishop was appointed to St. Francis Xavier University and continuing through to the present this series provides a comprehensive view of the actions and activities of the Bishop through his various titles and positions (Bishop of St. John, Archbishop of Edmonton, and Emeritus Archbishop of Edmonton).
