General note
- Note with photograph : This was taken at Camp Daniel- owned by Immaculate Conception Parish, Sydney [mines]- date Aug. 1950. I had established the camp and was being transferred to St. Ninian's Cathedral Parish in Antigonish - I was not very happy and neither were the folks. The young woman on the right side of the photo is Jerry Cardeau, Fr. Les sister who became a Sister of Notre Dame. On the other side of the photo is Fr. Butts sister.
- Photograph on verso: Joe MacDougall (Front centre). Stewart Francis presenting the [?] cheque for Camp Daniel. Most Rev. J.N. MacNeil. Jerry Cardeau (17 years old then). "Jeanette" far left. "Bernie" was missing. Must have been baby sitting.
