The fonds also includes a single proclamation given to Mrsg. Reyonlds on the occasion of his return to his home parish in Antigonish. This document is stored in oversize storage in the vault.
Reynolds, Rt. Rev. AllenFonds consists of writings by Msgr. Foran including many of his homilies dating from 1931-1948, text prepared for the Catholic Truth and Broadcast (1936-1944), articles written for the Western Catholic Reporter focusing mostly on the papacy and the church (1942-1949) and on world dynamics (1943-1945), as well as text written for a variety of other sources between 1930 and 1970. The fonds also includes his book and his thesis "De Natura et Efficacia Extremae Unctionis” (1930) composed while he was at seminary.
All the texts are arranged in alphabetical order. Index to sermons is available upon request.
In addition the fonds includes copies of Rev. Foran's three diplomas in Theology stored in oversize storage in the vault.
Foran, Msgr. Canice JosephThe fonds consists of records which document the personal and priestly life of Mgrs., MacDonald. Fonds consists of correspondence, homilies from a variety of occasions and on a variety of topics, photographs, schedules, notes, and other records from retreats Msgr. MacDonald attended and other miscellaneous records.
The fonds is arranged into the following four series:
The fonds consists primarily of photographs, albums and scrapbooks which document Msgr. Otterson's time at seminary and his early priesthood. There are very few photographs from his time spent as a teacher. Unfortunately, many of the photographs are unidentified.
In addition there are a few letters, newspaper clippings and other miscellaneous textual records such as cards, prayer cards, and invitations.
