The series consists of photographs and albums which document the life of Rev. Purcell and includes photographs, newspaper clippings, letters, reports, prayer cards and other miscellaneous documents. Albums include a variety of photographs (including exterior and interior) of the churches where Rev. Purcell served. The albums also include photographs from significant trips, Russia 1978, Rome (multiple occasions), Panama (ca. 1980).

Materiële staat
Some of the albums were in terrible condition, thus the photographs were removed and newspaper clippings were photocopies. Original order was maintained to the best of the archives abilities.
