Historia
Leo Klug was born on August 3, 1932 in Camrose Alberta. He attended St. Joseph Seminary in Edmonton between 1956 and 1960 and was ordained to the priesthood on June 4, 1960 at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Camrose by Archbishop MacDonald.
He served a number of parishes including Drayton Valley, St. Michael-Resurrection, Red Deer, Stony Plain and Missions, and Redwater. Leo Klug also served as a chaplain at a variety of hospitals in the Archdiocese including the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the Fort Saskatchewan Prison.
He also served as a Professor of Sociology at Newman Theological College between 1970 and 1973.
In July 1, 1978 he was laicized.
