The file consists of records that document the actions and activities carried out by the Archdiocese in regards to vocations and includes records from the Archdiocesan Vocations Team, the Vocations Committee and the Mater Christi Society. The files focus mainly on vocations to the priesthood but there is a file related to Vocations to consecrated life. The sub-sub-series includes meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports.

The fonds consists of the administrative records of the Vocation Team and includes meeting minutes, correspondence, as well as records which document the relationship between the Vocation Team and the Serra Club.

The fonds consists of administrative, business, financial, and historical records of St. Joseph Seminary which document the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of the seminary. The Fonds includes minutes of meetings of various councils and committees, correspondences, reports, memos, policies and procedures, reports and surveys, budgets, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, photographs, publications, and other miscellaneous records related to admission, evaluation, and ordination of seminarians, the education of seminarians, the financial administration of the seminary, the seminary buildings and facilities, hiring of staff and faculty, student life.

The fonds also consists of records which document the relationship between St. Joseph Seminary and Newman Theological College, the Archdiocese of Edmonton, other Canadian Seminaries, and other Canadian Dioceses.
