Item is an example of a Roman style chasuble commonly worn prior to the start of the Second Vatican Council. The front-side and back-side of the chasuble are decorated in a gold "IHS" applique with simple flower/vine motif.
Item is an example of Neo-Gothic chasuble, maniple, and stole set commonly used prior to the start of the Second Vatican Council and is a prime example of a pre-Paul VI motu. The red chasuable includes simple black bands along the boarders of the fabric. The back of the chasuble includes a gold detailed applique.

The series consists of a variety of printed materials which document the activities and life of the Sisters of the Precious Blood. Of particular interest are DVD copies of the 75th Anniversary celebrations of the sisters as well as the prayers, devotions and many miscellaneous printed documents which provide a bit of insight into the daily lives of the sisters.
The subseries consists of records related to marriage dispensations and/or permissions. Included are marriage dispensation/permission papers, indexes to marriage dispensations, as well as marriage dispensation registers. Dispensations granted include those for disparity of cult, disparity of cult ad cautelam, consanguinity, affinity and canonical form. Permissions granted include mixed religion, teenage marriage, convalidation, sanatio, nihil obstat for second marriage, and testimonial letters.
Over the years three different index systems have been created to provide access to the papers. Marriage dispensations granted between 1920 and 1964 were recorded in registers, between 1964 and 1984 index cards were created (index cards are available in the archives vault), and since 1985 entries have been entered into Canstat.
