The series consists of 1st, 2nd and 3rd class relics held in the possession of the Archdiocese of Edmonton. The majority of these relics are housed in special containers called "Thecas". The series also includes several ornate reliquaries. About half of the relics include authentication papers, see item level descriptions for more details. In addition the series contains authentication papers for relics which are not in the collection.

This relic was presented to Archbishop Smith on Nov. 28, 2015 at the Mass of Peace in the Middle East by the Maronite Catholic Community in Edmonton. It is on permanent display in the St. Francis de Sales chapel at the Pastoral and Administrative Offices (PAO).
