The sub-subseries consists of correspondence, newspapaer clippings, meeting minutes, and other records which document the actions of the Archbishop's Coordinating Committee, a group established to oversee the implementation of the Faithful into the Future report published in 1998.
The album contains colour photographs of the Archbishops' final resting places. Album includes photos of Archbishop Legal at the Oblate Cemetery in St. Albert, Archbishop O'Leary at St. Joachim Cemetery, Edmonton, Archbishop John H. MacDonald-Holy Cross Cemetery-Edmonton, and Archbishop Anthony Jordan-Holy Cross Cemetery-Edmonton. All of the photos are identified.
The photographs depict the tombstones of the following Archbishops of the Archdiocese of Edmonton, Legal (Oblate Cemetery in St. Albert), O'Leary (St. Joachim Cemetery in Edmonton), MacDonald (Holy Cross Cemetery in Edmonton) and Jordan (Holy Cross Cemetery in Edmonton). There are also two photographs of the tombstone of Brother Anthony Kowalczyk.
Photograph album contains colour photographs and letters from parishioners. The album includes photographs turning of the sod for the new church, construction and blessing of Holy Family Church, RCIA Rite of Election, KofC Padre Night, Fr. Greg Bittman's Ordination to the Diaconate, blessing of St. Marguerite d'Youville School, and confirmation celebrations . Several pages also contain letters to Archbishop MacNeil from the parishioners of Holy Family Parish.
Sub-subseries consists of bound letter books of out-going correspondence of Rev. Leduc in his capacity as Chancellor, 1884-1918; Rev. Emile Legal in his capacity as Co-Adjutor Bishop and Bishop of the Diocese of St. Albert and as Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Edmonton, 1897-1920; Rev. Vital Grandin in his capacity as Bishop of the Diocese of St. Albert, 1877-1902; indexes of letter books of Bishop Grandin and Bishop Legal, 1896-1920.
These letters are primarily of an administrative nature.
The fonds consists of records which document the activities of the Adult Learning Commission from its first creation as the Office of Continuing Education in 1989 through to its closure in 2003. Records include minutes of meetings, correspondence, information files, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, and brochures, as well as records which related to the many publications created by the Commission.

The collection includes a variety of religious objects gathered by various archivists with the intention of creating an Archdiocesean museum. Of particular significance are the following items: a large gold reliquary, the Vatican II ring worn by Archbishop Jordan at the Vatican II council in Rome, the relics of the true cross, the neo-gothic and highly ornamented gold chasubles and the apostolic delegates chalice. The collection also includes artifacts from the papal visit tour in 1987 and world youth day events celebrated throughout the Archdiocese.

The collection includes a variety of pamphlets, magazines, and self published items related to the history of the Catholic Church in Alberta. Publications come from a variety of sources including St. Joseph Seminary, Newman Theological College, active and inactive parishes in the Archdiocese of Edmonton, the Pastoral and Administration Offices, commissions of the Archdiocese and other Catholic organizations and institutions.
The Catholic Archdiocese of EdmontonThe file consist of records that document actions and activities of the Archdiocesan Archives and includes notes compiled by the previous archivists including activity logs, journals, and correspondence about the functions of the archives, information regarding the hiring and training of summer students, budgets, policies (in particular related to the management of sacramental records, access to the archives, and records management), meetings from the ARCAE Committee and correspondence.
The collection includes a variety of liturgical music including mass settings, liturgical songs and other church music in English, Latin, and French for full choir, four voices and with piano and/or organ accompaniment.
The Catholic Archdiocese of EdmontonThe file contains informational content related the establishment of an Archdiocesan benefit plan for lay employees (in particular those employed at parishes and at the Catholic Pastoral Center). Documents in this file include correspondence, reports, and draft policies.
The folder contain information about events organized and hosted by the various councils and commissions of the Archdiocese of Edmonton. Documents in these files are arranged chronologically.

The folder consists of meeting minutes from the Archdiocesan Commissions and Agencies Meetings (later called the Commissions and Councils) held as a means of improving communication between the various organizations of the Archdiocese. The minutes include updates and reports from all members on their actions and activities and future goals.
The folder consists of meeting minutes and reports compiled during the Councils and Commissions Operational Review conducted in 2001 to address management and operational issues in the commissions. The end result of this process was the closing of the commissions and the integration of the commissions into the formal structure of the archdiocese.
The folder also includes information about the Archbishop's Planning Team established in 2003-2004 to assist in the transition away from the commission system.
Fonds consists of financial records and miscellaneous pamphlets which document some of the work conducted by the employees of the Communications Centre. The fonds is by no means complete.

The sub-sub-series consists of records that document the various communications initiatives launched by the Archdiocese and includes meeting minutes, correspondence and reports from the following committees and projects: Catholic Truth Broadcast, CHFA Radio Francaise en Alberta, Communication Committee for Ration and TV, the Archdiocesan Communication Center, and the Communications and Public Relations Office.

The file consist primarily of letters of appointment to members of the clergy of the Archdiocese of Edmonton to one of the following, Diocesan Consultors, Council of Vigilance, Pre-Synodal Examiners, Council of Administration, and Performance evaluation Committee. The file also consists of lists of the various consultors compiled by various Chancery and Archives staff.
The file consist of records that document the relationship between the various deaneries and the Archdiocese and includes correspondence, meeting minutes, discussion regarding deanery boundaries and other administrative issues, as well as lists of deans and other informational documents.
The sub-subseries also includes meeting minutes from the various deaneries including Edmonton South, Edmonton West, Edmonton East, Camrose, Jasper, Red Deer and Vegreville. While these deaneries are still operational they do not have a habit of depositing their records at the Archdiocese Archives. Therefore these records are predominantly from the 1980s and 1990s.

The files contain copies of the Archdiocesan Educational Services Catalogs complied between 1981 and 1996. These catalogs were complied by the Continuing Religious Education Centre to inform parishioners in the Archdiocese of the various educational resources available and include the names, contact information and brief descriptions of the mission, goals, and purpose of each organization. Listed in these directories are organizations like Catholic Engaged Encounter, Newman Theological College, Youth Commission, Legion of Mary, etc.
