The file includes correspondence, meeting minutes, and other documents related to the process of parish restructuring overseen by the Archbishops Coordinating Committee.

The sub-subseries consists of a single file of documents that records the actions and activities of the Parish Review Committee and includes meeting minutes and correspondence. It is very likely that this file is incomplete.

The sub-series consists of records which document the Parishes in Transition (later called the Transformation of Parishes) committee which was established to review and provide solutions to the management of the parishes in the Archdiocese of Edmonton due to the priestly shortage faced by the Archdiocese in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The subseries includes correspondence, meeting minutes from a variety of committees and sub-committees including the Parishes in Transition Committee, the Transformation of Parishes Task Group, the Implementation Task Group, the Archbishop's Coordinating Committee, and the ToPs review committee, newspaper clippings, newsletters, manuals, policy documents, planning documents, survey's and reports.

The file contains correspondence, survey and survey results from the Parishes in Transistion committee which would eventually develop into the TOPS (Transformation of Parishes) committee.
