Item is an example of a large gold ciborium which would have been used durning mass. It is the largest in the Artifacts Collection.
This large wooden reliquary containes 30 theca each containing at least one relic of one saint. The reliquary is very simple, a arch with very little ornamentation. Perhaps at some point in the future the relics will be taken out and placed in a more ornate reliquary.

Relics are as follows (clockwise): The first theca contains relics of St. Victorian of Hadrumetum, the second theca contains relics of St. Vincent De Paul, the third theca contains relics of St. Pierre, St. Placide, St. Sebastian, St. Lawrence, St. Rose of Viterbo, St. Honoret, St. Honorius of Amiens, St. Zeno of Alexandria, Saint Calupan, St. Alphonse, St. Felix, St.Innocent, St. Charles, St. Zenon, St.Lorette, and a piece of the nativity grotto. The fourth theca contains relics of St. Cloud and St. Julian. The fifth theca contains a piece of the staff of St.Joseph. The sixth theca contains a relic of St. Francis de Sales. The seventh theca contains a relic of St. Margaret of Cortona. The eighth theca contains a relic of St. Loius. The ninth theca contains relics of St. Peter, St.James, and St.Matthew. The tenth theca contains a relic of St. Serenus the Gardener. The eleventh theca contains a piece of the tomb of B.V.M. The twelfth theca contains a relic of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. The thirteenth theca contains a piece of the tunic of St. Francis of Assisi. The fourteenth theca contains a relic of St. Speciosus. The fifteenth theca contains a relic of St. Robert Bellarmine. The sixteenth theca contains a relic of St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori, a piece of cloth likely from a vestment or other item of clothing. The seventeenth theca contains a relic of St. Joseph, the spouse of Mary. The eighteenth theca contains relics of St. Valerian and St. Eudocia of Heliopolis. The nineteenth theca contains relics of St. Jude, St.James the greater, St. Andrew, St.John, St.Peter, St. Paul, St. Ann, St. Thomas, St.James the lesser, St.Philip, St.Matthew, and St. Bartholomew.
The twentieth theca contains relics of St. Francis de Sales, St. Urban, St. Francis of Assis, St. Vincent de Paul, St.Felecity, and 4 other unidentified saints. The twenty-first theca contains relics of St. Ann M.V.M, Pope Saint Nicholas I, St. Aloysius Gonzaga, and St. Camillus of Lellis. The twenty-second theca contains relics of 6 unidentified saints.
