Item is and example of a proper pectoral cross in it optimal use, acting as a reliquary as it contains the relics of the following: a piece of True Cross, a piece of bone of St. John the Baptist, a piece of bone of St. Andrew the Apostle, a piece of bone of St. Peter, a piece of bone of St. Bernard, a piece of bone of St. George, a piece of bone St. Paul the Apostle. Though no seal of seen, this reliquary/pectoral cross would be only worn and handed by the Bishop, not necessitating that his seal would be on it. The reliquary would be pasted down from one Bishop to the next in the diocese, as to be able to carry the True Cross next to their heart as their episcopal ministry demands from them.
