The series consists of records which document the many years Rev. Crough spent in educational institutions including St. Rita's School and St. Joseph Seminary and includes diplomas, certificates, research papers, and year books. The series is arranged into the following files:

The fonds includes correspondence, homilies, research files, photographs and other miscellaneous records which document the personal and priestly life of Rev. Emmett Crough. The records cover fifty years of Rev. Croughs education and work as a priest. Of specific interest are his homilies which cover the period of 1958 to 1970. Not all homilies are dated. The name of the parish or mission where the homily was given is indicated on most homily texts. Homilies are filed in alphabetical order of title.
