The album was created in the form of a scrapbook. The album consists primarily of photographs but also includes newspaper clippings which document the life of Rev. Ernest Battle including his days at seminary in the 1920s, his ordination in 1924, as well as the many parishes he served at in the Archdiocese of Edmonton as pastor.

Fonds includes three texts written by Rev. Battle, possibly while a student a seminary, a photograph album, and a certificate from the town of Stettler for the many years of service Battle devoted to their community.
