The album was created in the form of a scrapbook. The album consists primarily of photographs but also includes newspaper clippings which document the life of Rev. Ernest Battle including his days at seminary in the 1920s, his ordination in 1924, as well as the many parishes he served at in the Archdiocese of Edmonton as pastor.

File contains three texts written by Rev. Becs tilted as follows "Knowledge viewed in Relation to learning," "Lessons from the Hidden life of our Lord," and "St. Margaret Mary and the Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus."
