This series documents the activities of the Newman Theological College Senate, and consists most notably of the minutes of Senate meetings. Furthermore, this series also contains correspondence between members of the Senate, Newman Theological College and other organizations as well as other documents such as master timetables, articles that were the subject of discussion at meetings and financial records. In addition, acts of incorporation can be found in the first file of this series (85-2-1).

This series documents the activities of the Newman Theological College Religious Education Committee, who were charged with overseeing the Religious Education Program, minutes of their meetings and contains correspondence between members of the Religious Education Committee, Newman Theological College, employees of Newman Theological College and other organizations.

This series documents the relationship between Newman Theological College and multiple external organizations including educational institutions, Catholic organizations, and Christian groups such as St. Mary University College, Ville Maria Renewal Centre, Concordia Lutheran Seminary, St. Stephen’s College, the University of Alberta, the Vancouver School of Theology, the Kings of Columbus, and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. It includes correspondence, relevant ephemera from the external organizations and documentation of collaborative efforts.

This series documents the activities of the Newman Theological College Board of Governors, formerly known as the Board of Administrators from its inception in 1978 until the 1991-1992 academic year, and consists most notably of the minutes of Administrative Council meetings. The Board of Governors is in charge of overseeing the various councils present at Newman Theological College. Furthermore, this series also contains correspondence between members of the Board of Governors, Newman Theological College, employees of Newman Theological College and other organizations. In addition, this series also contains financial records in the form of annual budgets, reports and evaluations.

This series documents the activities of the Newman Theological College Faculty Council, and consists most notably of the minutes of Faculty Council meetings. The Faculty Council is composed of the President and select faculty members who, collectively, are expected to govern over the faculty of Newman Theological College. Furthermore, this series also contains correspondence between members of the Faculty Council, Newman Theological College and other organizations as well as other documents such as master timetables, articles that were the subject of discussion at meetings and financial records.

This series documents the annual symposium held a Newman Theological College called Faculty Days. During Faculty Days, members of the Faculty Council, as well as faculty who were not considered members of the Faculty Council, would meet and discuss affairs pertinent to the faculty at that time and make plans for the future year. This series includes the minutes of the meetings that took place during Faculty Days as well as correspondence and documentation pertaining to the planning and after effects of Faculty Days.

This series documents the activities of the Newman Theological College Strategic Planning Committee, composed of faculty and staff who were in charge of planning for the future of NTC. Furthermore, this series also contains correspondence between members of the Strategic Planning Committee, Newman Theological College, employees of Newman Theological College and other organizations.

This series documents the Newman Theological College Distance Education Program, and includes course documentation, correspondence and program information.

The sub-series consists of records which document the organization, planning and implementation of the Fall Speaker Series as carried out by the Fall Speaker Series Committee and includes agendas, meeting minutes, correspondence, as well as ephemeral materials such as posters, newspaper clippings, tickets and brochures from the event. The sub-series also includes files containing information about each speaker and includes Curriculum Vitae of the various speakers, transcripts of the speeches themselves, newspaper articles about the speakers, photographs and other miscellaneous published articles.

This series contains both student and policy handbooks used by staff and faculty. These handbooks contained information regarding registration, courses offered during a given year, factual information about the history of the college and information that students would need to know in order to be successful at NTC.

This series documents the activities undertaken by Newman Theological College to increase public awareness of and attract students to NTC. The series includes advertisements, pamphlets, newspaper clippings and correspondence with various media agency and print shops.

This series contains records pertinent to the faculty of Newman Theological College that do not fall under the other series in the fond and includes staff directories, newspaper clippings and articles, annual reports and reviews, documentation about sabbaticals and reviews, presentations, and other miscellaneous records.

The series contains documents regarding the physical structure and land of NTC, particularly through the era in which the Anthony Henday ring road was being planned, with direct implications for NTC.
