The sub-series consists of records which document the organization, planning and implementation of the Anthony Jordan Lecture Series as carried out by the Anthony Jordan Lecture Series Committee and includes agendas, meeting minutes, correspondence, as well as ephemeral materials such as posters, newspaper clippings, tickets and brochures from the event.

The sub-series also includes files containing information about each speaker and includes Curriculum Vitae of the various speakers, transcripts of the speeches themselves, newspaper articles about the speakers, photographs and other miscellaneous published articles. It is also worth noting some of the audio recordings found in this sub-series, as well as recordings from years not found here, can be found at Newman Theological College Library.

The series contains documentation of and correspondence pertinent to the process through which Newman attained accreditation from the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) as well as documentation of subsequent reaccreditation processes. The ATS Accreditation Steering Committee was incorporated to guide the College through the accreditation process and culled information that would subsequently be put to use in the formal reports Newman Theological College would file with the ATS.

Furthermore, this series also contains correspondence between members of the Board of Governors, Newman Theological College, employees of Newman Theological College and other organizations. The series consists of records which document the many lectures organized by Newman Theological College, notably the Anthony Jordan Lecture series, the Vital Grandin Lecture series and the Fall Lectures Series. Each sub-series contains information about the committees formed to organize the lectures, minutes of their meetings, correspondence between the committees, speakers, local media and other members of the Newman Theological College faculty. Each sub-series also contains copies of various newspaper articles either promoting or reporting upon the lectures. The series is arranged into four subseries: Anthony Jordan Lecture Series, Vital Grandin Lecture Series, Fall Speaker Series and Convocation Series.
