The fonds consists of records which document the activities of the Adult Learning Commission from its first creation as the Office of Continuing Education in 1989 through to its closure in 2003. Records include minutes of meetings, correspondence, information files, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, and brochures, as well as records which related to the many publications created by the Commission.

The fonds is arranged into the following five series:

4. Video Resource records (1980-2002)
5. Publications (1969-2003)

The series consists of records which document the administrative activities of the Adult Learning Commission and includes meeting minutes, correspondences, reports, newsletters, pamphlets, brochures, and information files which contain information about the history of the commission.
