The fonds consists of records which document the activities of the Adult Learning Commission from its first creation as the Office of Continuing Education in 1989 through to its closure in 2003. Records include minutes of meetings, correspondence, information files, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, and brochures, as well as records which related to the many publications created by the Commission.

As such the fonds is divided into two series, Administrative Records, consisting of budgets, program evaluations, newspaper clippings and other miscellaneous records), and Programing Records, consisting of documentation created for the administration of scripture and theology sessions.
