As well, each Prime Minister has an individual folder containing correspondence, John A. MacDonald (1880-1890), Sir Wilfred Laurier (1896-1917), Sir Robert Borden (1903-1917), Pierre E. Trudeau (1978-1984), Brian Mulroney (1984-1993), Kim Campbell (1993) and Jean Chretien (1993). Correspondence with other Prime Ministers can be found in Box D6-3-1 in a file titled "1.2.1.1 Canada General Correspondence."

The sub-sub-series also includes correspondence with various Departments of the Government including the Department of Customs, The Department of Education, the Department of Immigration, etc. Finally, the sub-series also includes some information documents and reports.
