The file consists of records related to the establishment, foundation and operation of the permanent diacontate program and includes general correspondence, meeting minutes of the Permanent Diaconate Committee, applications to the program, program information files, and files on each of the deacons who has served the archdiocese. (Please note these "personnel" files consist primarily of clippings, the "official" file is maintains in the Chancery Office and only transferred to archives after a deacon has died).
