Originally named St. Joseph Mission in 1962 the mission at Alix was renamed St. Rita Mission. The file includes annual reports (1922-1923), general correspondences (1926-1986) and other miscellaneous documents including newspaper articles and a brief history of the mission. St. Rita Mission church was closed in 1998 and the property was sold in 2000.
